Living Room
This home sold in less than one day for
the "top dollar" asking price! It is an adorable ranch
that was "fine" as it was... but the owners knew that
they wanted the home to be better than just "fine". They
wanted it to stand out above the competition and be the very best
it could be. The small changes made were subtle, but very powerful.
It now looks more spacious, feels open and light, is warmer and
homier and has better traffic flow.

See how the sofas overlap where they
meet in the built out corner of the room. Also, notice how the
end table juts into the room because it is placed in front of
the archway to the dining room. By placing the larger sofa along
the wall, there isn't room to move the end table back against
the wall or next to it.
|
Moving the larger sofa under the window
created space along the wall for the smaller sofa and the end
table. Now the sofas are separated... the end arch/wall is uncluttered.
This new placement has created a balanced look and feel... while
opening up the overall size of the room.
